Automobile sector giant MG has launched a new avatar of India’s first pure electric internet SUV in India. The Excite variant of the MG ZS EV in India for 2022 model starts at Rs.21.99 lakhs while the Exclusive variant costs Rs.25.88 lakhs. This electronic car will be available in four color variants – Ferris White, Current Red, Ashen Silver and Sable Black. The company offers more than 75 connected car features in this car.
The makers of this car gave extra importance to the safety features of this car. For safety in the EV, 6 airbags, 360 degrees cameras, hill descent control and many more other features have been installed. They have also given rear drive assist and lane change features which helps the driver in avoiding any sudden accidents during changing the lane. It also has blind spot detection feature which detects the sudden approaching vehicles.
Its powertrain system includes a 50.3kWh battery pack (replacing the old 44.7kWh battery unit) delivering power worth 143bhp and 353 Nm of torque. The SUV’s new model is claimed to do 0 to 100kmph in 8.5 seconds. The new MG ZS EV offers a claimed range of 461 km in a single charge. Its previous iteration was claimed to deliver 419km on a full charge.
One of the biggest updates come in the form of a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster.
